Dr. McWilliams attended the University of California at Santa Barbara where he received his BS in biology. He went on to receive his DDS degree from the University Of Southern California School of Dentistry in 1986. Shortly thereafter, Dr. McWilliams opened a private dental practice in Carmichael California. In 2002 he joined Kids Care Dental and has been a part of their practice ever since. Additionally, Dr McWilliams works very closely with several Sacramento area pediatric dental offices. Among his regular referral offices are Weideman pediatric dentistry, Smile lsland pediatric dental group, Lisa Nielsen – Laptalo DMD, John Birch DDS, Craig Hollingsworth DDS and Rodney Bughao DDS.
Dr. McWilliams has dedicated a great deal of his career and his continuing dental education to the delivery of pediatric hospital dentistry. “Treating very young and often times a very apprehensive child has become one of the most rewarding professional experiences of my career.” A native to Sacramento, Dr. McWilliams loves the game of golf and plays it every chance he gets. He also enjoys travel, following the Kings, and spending time with his wife Lynda and their family.
